The National Health Association (NHA) is a non-profit organization that promotes the benefits of a plant-based diet. The Association provides educational materials, educational events, and services to thousands of people in the United States, Canada, and around the world.

Health Science magazine
The award-winning Health Science magazine is the official NHA journal. Published quarterly, it focuses on health through healthful living. It has readers in more than 50 countries who, in each issue, learn how to “live well into the future.”

Conferences and Seminars
NHA conducts conferences and regional seminars. Featured speakers include physicians and other experts from around the world who specialize in health, nutrition, and recovery through natural methods. These events have attracted thousands of people through the years.

Books and Tapes
NHA publishes and distributes thousands of books and tapes on the subject of health and healthful living.

Safe Food and Health Freedom
NHA advocates for safe organic food standards and for freedom of choice in healthcare, and opposes food irradiation and genetic engineering.

The mission of the National Health Association is to educate and
empower individuals to understand that health results from healthful
living. We recognize the integration of all aspects of health—personal,
environmental, and social.

We communicate the benefits of a plant-based diet, exercise and rest,
a healthy environment, psychological well-being, and, when indicated,
the use of fasting. We take a leadership role in advocating health
freedom issues.
