The NHA strongly opposes food irradiation on ground of both environmental and food safety.

The NHA support effots to abolish or limit the cancer-causing emissions from potentially harmful sources, such as nuclear reactors and weapons, food and medical irradiation plants, microwave transmissions, high voltage wires, and medical and dental X rays.
