Please join us on a NHA Plant Based Group Cruise on the Wind Star, a 4-masted motor sailing yacht accommodating 148 guests (73 staterooms).

We have four NHA WFPB groups in Costa Rica and Panama, each of which will experience touring and transiting the Panama Canal. Because our groups require additional chefs and the kitchens are small on this ship, our groups are capped at 20 WFPB guests.

The two 7-day voyages transit the Panama Canal and visit two areas in Costa Rica. The 14-day voyage transits the Panama Canal and explores the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. When doing the 14 day cruise, you will be able to stay in the stateroom booked for the start of your cruise.

See the Panama Canal for the amazing engineering feat it truly is as you enjoy a unique small-ship view of the canal, locks, and Lake Gatun as a Canal Historian describes each phase of your journey. And get closer to the best wildlife-watching areas, like Bahia Drake where you’ll take a Zodiac ashore to access Corcovado National Park. Our onboard local Naturalist provides tips on how to watch for birds, monkeys, and species found nowhere else on earth. When you need a break from adventure (if you ever do), relax on uninhabited white-sand beaches and snorkel stunning reefs in Windstar-exclusive destinations like Isla Parida.

The Windstar staff is amazing; the ship is gorgeous with spacious staterooms, and the WFPB, SOS Free and Gluten Free buffet meals are fantastic.

Staterooms on this ship do not have doors or windows that open. It is warm and people are usually enjoying the lovely outdoor spaces on the ship.

A deposit of 15% of the total booking amount is required to reserve your preferred stateroom.

Windstar Cruise is doing a fabulous job with NHA’s whole food plant-based meals without added salt, oil, or sugar. They are providing extra chefs for three back-to-back NHA sailings. The Windstar staff is amazing and the sailing yacht is beautiful.
