the Seine River near the Eiffel Tower. Discover the most renowned sites in Paris as well as sites memorialized by famous Impressionist painters along France’s Seine River. Experience the colorful splendor of Claude Monet’s magnificent gardens at his former home in Giverny, admiring the water lilies, Japanese bridges and graceful willow trees immortalized in his paintings. 

Walk, hike or bike through charming cities including Vernon, Le Havre and Rouen with fairytale castles, châteaux and idyllic scenery at every turn. You can also choose a full-day excursion to see the historic Normandy Beaches, where you may visit such sites as the cemetery at Colleville­sur­Mer, Omaha Beach, the artillery battery at Longues­sur­Mer and the village of Arromanches, where you will see the impressive remains of the floating harbor used during the WWII landings. There is a post cruise extension that includes a visit to Mont St. Michel.
