026: The Pregnancy Advantage Goes Beyond the Womb with Dr. Jeanne Schumacher

Listen on Your Favorite Channel:

Dr. Jeanne Schumacher shares her journey from being a critically ill patient to a passionate advocate for plant-based nutrition.

After experiencing a severe illness and being treated by a nutritionist, she delved into the world of nutrition and attended various courses and educational programs to learn more.

Dr. Schumacher also discusses how her background in teaching chemistry and analyzing personal care products helped her understand the impact of chemicals on human health. Her story is a testament to the transformative power of nutrition and the importance of spreading awareness about plant-based living.

During her interview with Dr. Frank Sabatino, Jeanne discusses her experience with creating and participating in plant-based challenges, such as the 10-day challenges, with a friend named Nancy Matthews in California. They realized that after completing these challenges, people need ongoing help, support, and education as they transition to a plant-based lifestyle.

Dr. Schumacher emphasizes the importance of continuous education and support not only for newcomers to plant-based eating but also for those who have been plant-based but may have slipped back into old habits.

Dr. Schumacher is heavily involved in local initiatives, such as meetups and restaurant campaigns, to spread awareness about plant-based eating in her community.

Her passion and enthusiasm have been instrumental in helping untold numbers of individuals shift to a healthier, happier lifestyle.
